This week, our CEO, Angela White, attended the National Rx Drug Abuse Summit in Atlanta, along with our community partner San Antonio Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse and got to listen to some amazing speakers like John Eadie from the Public Health and Prescription Drug Monitoring Program Project; former U.S. President, Bill Clinton; and the U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Jerome M. Adams.
Adams outlined the fight for treatment and prevention while sharing his personal connection to the opioid crisis.
Alpha Home was proud to be part of the summit, which is the largest conference in the nation addressing the opioid crisis.
