Hello, I’m Angela White, delighted to meet you.…
A little bit about me…. I am originally from England and came to the United States with my family in 2007. I became an American citizen in 2013 and now consider San Antonio home. I have five rescue dogs and a parrot―it’s an entertaining household!
My corporate career has covered finance, IT, training, program, operational and change management underpinned with sales and customer service, working with teams spread across the globe. I have always been interested in the mentorship and coaching of my teams and working with others to achieve their goals.
The next challenge was starting and running my Life Coaching practice. I had great clients, both corporate and private. During this time, I wrote a monthly magazine column and appeared on television, which was fun. I found my business to be greatly fulfilling as it allowed me to be a positive influence of change in my clients’ lives.
In 2007, my husband was offered a job in either Anchorage or Houston.… The UK is cold and wet enough without adding snow, so Texas it was! Our time in Houston was wonderful, but due to another job change in 2012, we moved to San Antonio. I have found this city to be friendly and charming, and my family and I are definitely here to stay.
Throughout my life, I have been actively involved in volunteering with nonprofit organizations. The focus of my work has always been women and children, from fostering and adoption to helping set up a women’s shelter and latterly with CASA in Conroe, Texas. I feel called to serve others who need support, to reunify families when possible, and to be a part of working with people to help them be all they can be in their lives.
I am delighted to join Alpha Home and the inspiring team who work there. This is a dream role for me, in that I can combine my corporate experience with my passion for serving others in a position that can truly make a difference. Thank you, Alpha Home Board and Leadership team, for making this possible.
