Are you a person interested in seeing lives transformed? Are you concerned about the growing substance use epidemic? Are you wondering how you can make a difference? If you have said yes to one or all these questions, you are an ideal candidate to join the Alpha Home Board.
Our board members are an intricate part of our 55+ years of successfully providing substance use treatment to the San Antonio Community. Board members serve a three-year term. The Board consists of professionals from all walks of life (leaders in our community, professionals, entertainers, and retirees).
As a board member, you will be involved in (this is not an exhaustive list):
- Ensuring the Mission is clear and visible in all we do
- Review and Develop Policies
- Develop Strategic Plans
- Fundraising
- Recruitment of new Board Members
- Serve on a committee for your areas of interest: Finance, Development, Clinical, Quality, and more
- Supporting the Financial Stability of Alpha Home
Your involvement will help:
- Empower individuals to take back control of their lives
- Reunify families and change their direction for generations to come
- Assist in breaking the often-generational curse of addiction
- Strengthen entire communities
