Today we’re bringing you the story of Christine, an Alpha Home Alumnae who never gave up. Completing treatment at Alpha Home helped her turn her life around and she now works at the Adult Drug & DWI Court, working to help others who were once in her shoes. #ChangeTheConversation
“After sitting in jail for over a month ready to go to prison, with the help of the Felony Drug Court, I was admitted into Alpha on May 3, 2007. While at Alpha Home I learned how to confront my addiction. It taught me how to care for myself when I had just given up. It help mend my relationship with my family… It also helped me get back on my feet and become independent. Because of Alpha Home, I found my strength and have been able to help many other women. I have had a pleasure of working alongside some great women who came from Alpha Home, while working as a Recovery Coach and working for the Felony Drug Court and Judicial Services for almost 9 years. I have been sober for 10 years.”
